Sam the Wizmander
Okay, fingers crossed this posts (I’ve tried twice already today).
In between other projects and diving into the flurry of late fall / early winter farming I was able to finish my first comic this week! Sam the wizard salamander, or Wizmander, is a little character I came up with in early September on a walk along the Bitterroot River here in Montana. This was such a fun piece and I learned a lot- primarily how to overcome my fear of imperfection (read : “failure” my silly brain screams) in learning new things.
He is a grumpy critter and I can’t wait to explore his story more.
In the mean time I am still chipping away at various projects, which are now all available to follow in the “WIP Party” tag in the menu, and they include but aren’t limited to The Novel, podcasting (How many times will I rerecord episode one???), an illustrated Tumblr-based fairy-heavy Choose Your Own Adventure game, and some other secret, possibly hare brained things.
